Crown Royale brings its crown-shaped designs and Kaboom! inserts to NWSL collecting. It is an eight-card Hobby box, so start by checking the player and card design you want rather than treating the rarest preview as the expected pull.
Release date
October 28, 2026 is the date listed by Southern Hobby. Panini’s product page still says “Coming Soon.” We are treating the exact day as an expected distributor date, not a date announced on Panini’s store.

Checklist status
A full checklist was not linked from the Panini product page when checked October 16. The preview confirms the product and several designs, but it does not establish a complete player list or base-set count.
For a player-specific purchase, look for the final checklist or the actual card listing. Do not carry a checklist from Crown Royale WNBA or another sport into this NWSL release.

Preview cards and inserts
Panini highlights Kaboom! as a short-print chase. Its gallery also shows Crown Control Gold and a Crystal Purple base parallel. A preview of Kaboom! does not make it a promised card in an individual Hobby box.
Panini’s October announcement confirms Crown Royale alongside Donruss Optic and Prizm Black for the NWSL. These are different products, with different box contents; check the name on the listing before comparing prices.

October 28 remains the distributor date. Panini’s current Hobby breakdown is eight cards per box and 12 boxes per case. Full checklist coverage will be added once a usable manufacturer list is available.

A club or player collection is a straightforward way into this release. Start with the design you like, then decide whether you want the base card, a color parallel or an autograph. Keep Kaboom! as a possible surprise if you open a box, rather than the reason the box has to work out.
