The 1996-97 Fleer set was issued in two series totalling 300 cards. Both series had 150 cards issued in 11-card packs carrying a suggested retail price of $1.49 each. Card fronts contain a full-bleed photo with the player’s last name in ghosted white letters and their first name in gold foil laid over it. The player’s team name is also in gold foil under the player’s first name. Card backs are horizontal with the team colors setting the background along with a basketball and the team logo. A photo of the player is provided along with statistical and biographical information. Cards are sequenced alphabetically within team order. The only subset is Hardwood Leaders (120-148).
