2000 Topps Gallery Football Box Break, Review and Breakdown
2000 Topps Gallery Football features a 175-card base checklist. True to the Gallery name, base cards feature color photography with thick white borders, similar to a matted photograph. The final 25 cards on the checklist feature rookies. It isn’t a very strong rookie class, with the highlights being Jamal Lewis, Plaxico Burress, and Shaun Alexander.
There is one parallel set, Player’s Private Issue. Each parallel features foil stamping on the front, with each card serial numbered to 250 copies on the back. A handful of insert sets round out the checklist, including some really nice looking acetate cards. Gallery of Heroes cards are die-cut stained glass cards that should be expected once in every box. They are awesome!

Also inserted into packs were these points certificates. They were found in different denominations from 25 points all the way up to 5,000 points. These points could be used in an auction for original artwork used on Topps cards.

This is an attractive Proof Positive card. Unfortunately, this is probably the weakest combo on the checklist.

Lastly, the Tim Brown card back. The “Pictured on the Front” descriptions are a nice touch.
I did find a 1,000 point certificate! These were inserted once in every 240 packs.
Unfortunately, I missed out on the Gallery of Heroes insert. That’s a shame, because they’re great. Seems there was an extra Exhibitions insert instead. I won’t complain because I pulled Moss.
