Barry Bonds Autographs in Late 2024, 2025 Topps Products

It has been several years since the last time Barry Bonds signed new MLB-licensed baseball cards. That’s about to change. Topps has announced they’ve got signatures coming from the all-time career home runs leader.

The last time Bonds had MLB autographed cards was in 2017. However, even then he appeared in only a handful of Topps products: 2017 Topps, 2017 Finest, 2017 Diamond Icons, 2017 Gypsy Queen, 2017 Tier One and 2017 Tribute.

You’d have to go back about a decade to find a consistent flow of Bonds cards in licensed products. He was in a handful of products between 2007 and 2016 but not many.

According to Topps, the first new Bonds autographs will be available in 2024 Topps Diamond Icons Baseball. Further details on the super-premium product (and release date) have not been announced. 2025 Topps Series 1 Baseball should follow shortly after. These won’t be the only two products, either. Bonds signatures will be available in other 2025 releases as well.

Not to be lost is the fact that the card used to make the announcement offers the first glimpse at 2025 Topps Baseball. It shouldn’t be surprising that 1990 Topps Baseball is getting the commemorative 35th Anniversary treatment. It’s next in line following 2024’s various 1989 tributes.
