Beckett Sports Cards Hot/Cold List for the Week of Sept. 29, 2025

Cal Raleigh

On the strength of Raleigh’s league-leading 60 home runs and 125 RBI, the Mariners won their first American League West Division title since 2001. Raleigh and the M’s received a first-round bye, but all eyes will be on his powerful bat once Seattle gets back into action. Later on, the attention will turn to MVP voting to see if Raleigh or Aaron Judge picks up the award.

Jaxson Dart

Thrust into the starter’s role, Dart led the New York Giants to a win on Sunday, becoming the first rookie to beat a 3-0 team in his debut sinec 2002. Dart had an efficient outing, completing 13 of 20 passes for 111 yards and a touchdown. He also gained 54 yards on the ground and scored his first career TD. The Giants indicated Dart will continue to start moving forward, likely giving his cards a boost if he keeps putting up strong performances.

Bijan Robinson

Robinson came into the season as one of the most respected dual-threat running backs in the NFL, and he has shown why in the first four games. After piling up 181 yards from scrimmage for the Falcons in Week 4, Robinson upped his league-leading total to 584 for the season. He has only scored twice, but his efforts going down the field have heavily contributed to many of Atlanta’s scoring drives.

Konnor Griffin

The Pittsburgh Pirates made Griffin the ninth overall selection in the 2024 MLB Draft, and he wasted no time climbing the minor-league ladder. In 2025, Griffin hit .333 with 23 doubles, 4 triples, 21 home runs, and 94 RBI, and he also scored 117 runs and stole 65 bases while making stops at three minor-league affiliates. He could enter 2026 as the top prospect in baseball and seems destined to make his major-league debut sooner than later.

Ashton Jeanty

Jeanty had a big breakout in Week 4. As a first-round draft pick of the Las Vegas Raiders, Jeanty had rushed for only 144 yards and a touchdown in his first three games, but he nearly doubled those stats with 138 yards and a TD in Week 4 against the Chicago Bears. He also nabbed two passes during the game, both touchdowns. Jeanty and the Raiders face the Colts in Week 5, and Indy’s defense will likely be a tougher challenge for the rookie. Collectors will be closely watching to see how that game turns out.

A’ja Wilson

Consecutive Weeks on Hot List: 🔥🔥🔥🔥

The regular-season MVP has played well in the postseason thus far, but the Las Vegas Aces will be looking for a huge performance from Wilson in this week’s must-win Game 5 of the semifinals. Coming off 31 points and 9 rebounds in Game 4, Wilson has momentum on her side, but the feisty Indiana Fever will undoubtedly try everything they can to make it difficult for her to find her groove.

Kelsey Mitchell

Consecutive Weeks on Hot List: 🔥🔥

Mitchell and the Indiana Fever are hoping to pull off a big upset of the Las Vegas Aces in the WNBA semifinals. Mitchell has been a standout so far in the playoffs, averaging 23.3 points per game in the series. Indiana will certainly be leaning on her again in a must-win Game 5 this week.

Marc-Andre Fleury

Fleury saved the pucks for the Pittsburgh Penguins on the way to three championships over the first 13 years of his career, and with retirement looming, he took the ice one last time in a Penguins jersey in a preseason game. “We’ve played a lot of games and many seasons together,” Fleury said. “We won together. I was lucky to get to live this one more time and share this moment with them.” The eventual Hall of Famer played 21 total NHL seasons and won 575 games in the net.

Owen Beck

Last season, Beck got a taste of the NHL, appearing in 12 games as a 20-year-old. Combining that with an entire year of AHL experience has given Beck some extra confidence, and he has shown promise while skating around preseason games for the Canadiens. As one of the top players to watch going into Montreal’s new season, collectors are already taking note.
